The Answer

I had a long walking conversation with Plot Man the other evening and I think we’ve hit upon The Answer to the emotional power dilemma. Whew! Now I just have to go back through a few hundred pages and layer the details back in.
That’s no small feat, and I’m running it by my editor for her feedback. I don’t want to be late with this manuscript, but if a couple of weeks will make the story more powerful, I’m willing to do it. And she’s pretty good about giving me a few extra days, so we’ll see what she says.
IV2 will definitely be on time, though. I’m not comfortable pushing the deadline envelope….
Are you married to a Plot Man, too? (Or is it a friend?) I don’t know what I’d do without my plot man! I can lay out my problem and then sit back and let him ramble until something hits me just right, and then we go for round two, three, four, LOL! I don’t think I’d be able to write without him!
