Long, busy month!
Dec 22nd, 2005 by Sandra
Boy, have I been a slacker on the blog this month…. Is anybody still dropping by occasionally?
Hey-heh, I got the new web site up and running, with just a few items to reformat and then I can nuke the old pages. Woohoo!
And I’ve been working on proposals, as well as a novella, and that’s made things even busier. It seems like I’ve been doing lots of little things for a long time, and I’d like to actually accomplish something, you know?
But I hope to get the coding for the Houston Bay Area cover contest finished and off my plate in the next few days. We’ve had a great response, about 60 entries so far with still about 3 weeks to take entries, so we’re doing much, much better than we’d even hoped. RWA writers really have missed the ARTemis Awards this year!
And I’m getting ready to turn over HBA’s reins to the new President and Board. Once that’s done, I’ll have a good bit of brain space to put toward other tasks.
Happy Holidays, everybody!
Welcome back Sandra. Yes, I still check every day. I figured you’d just been busy - and of course you have been. :)
Hope you have a wonderful holiday.
Laura
Hi Sandra, happy holidays! Can’t wait to see your new-and-improved site.
Hey ladies, glad to see you’re still around!
The web site actually is up and running. Clarissa Silva, a fellow RWA chapter member, did the design for me back in September and I just now got around to posting it.
Have a look and let me know what you think. I was going for a cool, almost forbidding look, but I may have gone over the top….
