Wow.

I just found out THE ORCHID HUNTER is one of the nominees for the Romantic Times BOOKclub Reviewers’ Choice award for Silhouette Bombshell.

Woohoo!

I would probably be more excited, but I just had to fish the cat out of the lake. I heard him go in — a huge, kerplunking splash — and then nothing until he started howling. The dSO fetched me the KRD (Kitty Retrieval Device) from the aft deck and I had to simultaneously hold the boat close to the pier and reach down one-handed with the net while dSO held the flashlight on the cat. The poor thing had latched onto our port exhaust noise suppressor and was hanging on for dear life while yelling his head off.

Now, of course, he’s crawling all over the place shaking his legs and smelling like a wet hound on a hot day… Yuck!
