Something new — Free online romance reads
Mar 31st, 2006 by Sandra
As some of you know, one of my jobs is hosting web sites. I recently took on a client, Marisa Saunders, who had a unique idea for getting her work out to the public: She makes intriguing, high-quality stories available for free on her web site, all written in snippets that you can read in 15 minutes or less. As she says on her site, the stories are “perfect for busy women.”
She’s asked me to participate, which I’m definitely planning to do. It’d be cool to do an online story every so often, just a few installments for fun on the side. (And yes, I’m trying not to get totally sucked into the project, which, as you know from a previous post of mine, I have a hard time doing.)
What do you think about online reads? What kind of story could I write that would bring you back every day for, say, a couple of weeks? Hardcore action-adventure? More of a romance? Something fluffy and light, or something a little darker?
Ask and ye shall receive….
Sandra, thank you for the information about Google copyrights - I appreciate your level headed, professional approach - actually doing research on the issue before jumping on the bandwagon and screaming about the problem. Looking forward to reading your next book!

What would make me come back every day would be… A hot romance between a hunky hero and a stubborn, I-can-do-it-all-on-my-own heroine
Thanx
a fan,
I love romance stories about powerful confirmed bachelors who fall inlove with sweet yet tough women and there is a level of misunderstanding and distrust in the beginning that is gut wrenching and emotional. When they come together in the end, it’s just wonderful explosive fireworks.
I am a mother of two so I can only tackle short romance novels myself and an occassional longer version. So the idea of shorth free romance reads online is a beautiful thing. I am always surfing for great reads online.
