Sandra’s Miscellany

My dSO and I periodically have “words” because I’m in lust with Alan Rickman in most of his parts (Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility, Hans Gruber in Die Hard, etc.) while the dSO maintains Rickman’s a poofter.

So today I went poking around to see if, in fact, Alan bats for the home team.

I’m pleased to say here that he does not. However, he is unavailable for anything other than long-distance drooling as he’s been romantically involved with Rima Horton since he was at acting school.

One lucky babe. Who could turn this down?

And that voice…. Yum!

Now, should I tell the dSO that he and Alan have the same nose, lips, and eyes? :)

He makes a great Snape, but the part of Severus doesn’t give Rickman much chance to strut his stuff, does it? Ah well. I’ll just keep thinking about that incredibly suave and sexy Hans Gruber instead!
