That news about eBookwise is very helpful and I'll add it to my growing file of Things To Consider. I've only discussed the eBook idea with a couple of Bombshell authors, and we're in the data gathering phase right now. I suspect that even if the others don't go for it, I will, assuming H/S doesn't want IV for anything else. Stay tuned.... Thanks for the input, Karmela! Not portable, you say? But I can email it! And download it! And read it on my computer! Yes, all well and good. But there's an even better way to read an ebook: a portable electronic reader. Unfortunately, unlike the iPod (which made electronic downloadable music profitable and therefore ubiquitous), the ebook readers are not common at all. I hapeen to own a nifty little one, the eBookwise, but it doesn't read encrypted PDFs unfortunately, which is why I can't download any Harlequin/Silhouette books onto it. BUT, it can read anything and everything else. I just downloaded the latest Tess Gerritsen and the latest Suzanne Brockmann to it. I can take it anywhere with me, I can take 100 books with me on vacation, there's anonymity on the covers (so I can read erotica on say, an airplane or the subway), and I can enlarge the type, increase/decrease the backlight, and bookmark my page. It's awesome. So if you're going to release INTENDED VICTIM as an ebook, can you please make sure it's through eBookwise or Fictionwise and that my eBookwise can read it? Thanks Sandra! And from an ebook fan, I'm so glad you guys are considering this. It breaks my heart to think that I won't be able to read the conclusion of Pink's saga. I mean, if it's the only way I'm ever going to read and enjoy those books, the only way I'm going to find out how they end, then I'll take the eBook over nothing. Yeah, I'm bummed about Tawna Fenske's ski patrol book not making it -- just because it was scheduled for February! I've got my fingers crossed that it might be moved into another line, which I believe some books are doing. It seems to depend on whether the editors/marketing folks determine the book would be a good fit for the other lines (e.g., the new Romantic Suspense (used to be SIM), Harlequin Intrigue, etc.). I'm still waiting to hear what they want to do with Intended Victim. :jimi: It may be a while -- I'm sure they have a ton of books to evaluate. Thanks for dropping by, Danielle!

Yours, definitely. And another cancelled Bombshell -- the one about the ski patroller -- caught my eye; I'd be likely to give that one a shot too. Depending on the book, yeah I’d be interested.
