Bored at work
Dec 20th, 2006 by Sandra
I’ve been in product training for a good week and a half — and boy am I bored. Now don’t get me wrong: The job is great and challenging and can be fun. The people are wonderful.
But good grief! Enough already. How about a day to goof off and do nothing?
Sometimes a body just needs to take a sick day as a mental health day to break up the monotony and recover from some of the heavier learning days.
We have a big product launch in March, so I’m going to be working my butt off until then. I’m ready to take a break, then get out of product training and get to work on the new online help.
Any RoboHelp gurus out there?
On the writing front, I’m still toying with the single title idea. I haven’t had the mental space to really dig in to the story, but when things settle down a little, I hope to get back to it and maybe write a couple of pages every day at lunch.
Ah, the working life!
It’s great that you’re enjoying the job, Sandra. Sounds like a fun challenge. Merry Christmas - have a wonderful holiday!
Hi. Hope that your job will let you take the weekend of the wake off. Have you rec’d my emails? I’m getting excited to see everyone and we really hope that you can still come up to DFW.

You’re looking for a RoboHelp guru? I thought you were a RoboHelp guru? When you do your book signing at the B&N in State College, you’ll have to have your Dutch Treat Luncheon/Dinner at the Equinox Cafe & Ale Works in quaint/scenic/historical Millheim.
